Birthday Goodies and New Favorite Products

Birthdays are such a big deal to me whether it's my birthday, my friends' birthdays, or any member of my family's birthday -- I just LOVE the idea of each person getting their own special day to be celebrated extra!My family and friends know how much I love my birthday, and they always go all out with surprise parties or trips or whatever it may be, and they always get me the best gifts! Gifts are not what it's all about in the least, but it sure does mean a lot for someone to buy you something so thoughtful or give you a gift you only mentioned once because that tells you they listen to you!This year, my family got me so many gifts that were surprises and things that I really wanted and would have certainly bought for myself or my friends. It made my day because it made me feel like they really know me, really appreciate me and really listen to me! From the Heart is a monogramming store that has so many fun bags and jewelry and comfy shirts like this. My sis knows how much I love succulents (who doesn't these days) and the Bible verse on the shirt is the icing on top! Psalm 63:1 "O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water." Our souls without Jesus are like plants without water and I love that this shirt is a reminder of how much we all need Jesus. I've tried a few different concealers, but when a makeup artist used this on me, I knew there was no going back. But I kept using my old one because I didn't want to waste it... until my mom threw this in the makeup bag she got me along with some other surprises! The Tarte Shape Tape does wonders under the eyes, for contouring and for any blemishes. It's not heavy or cakey and it goes on so smoothly. If you're looking for something new to try, I highly recommend the shape tape and you can check it out right here!Urban Decay Naked Heat Eyeshadow Palette Almost every girl I know loves a good Urban Decay Naked Eyeshadow Palette and their new "Heat" palette is yet another testament to their innovative color palettes! My mom called and asked if she should get herself the original Naked palette or try Heat, so I told her to try something new! Little did I know, it was for me! (She's good, y'all.) The colors are very different and really warm, but I'm learning how to use only a little dab to blend for each eye. It really doesn't take a lot to give yourself a pop of color with this palette! My favorites so far are "Ounce" and "Chaser" for primers and "Low Blow" and "Lumbre" for lid colors. I haven't tried them all, so if you have a favorite, let me know! I have the candles all throughout my house and, in my opinion, you just can't ever have too many. I was on a trip with a friend last month, and she smelled just like Volcano candles all the time! I asked her how and she pulled out Volcano LOTION! I had no idea it even existed. I mentioned it once in passing to my husband and he must have listened because this was one of my little "mid-day" presents from him! It smells so, so good and makes me feel like I'm walking around Anthropologie all day when I wear it.
