To the One Who Wants to Quit

Do you ever get in slumps where you decided once and for all you are quitting your dream? Like you are not putting another ounce of effort into that thing you've been chasing for so long?I feel like I decide to quit once a week. But something always keeps me going. That still, small voice of my Savior says, "Please don't stop. I have a plan and you're going to love it."If you're reading this and you've been begging God to let you quit, I want to encourage you, not with some "do's," but with some "do not's."Do not, by any means, let the enemy convince you to stop walking in your purpose.Do not give up when you experience setbacks — let them set you up for comebacks.Do not give up just because your dream doesn’t look like you thought it would.Do not listen to the lie that you can’t do what God has asked you to do because you don’t have a big enough platform. You don’t need one when you work under the Only name that saves. And do not compare your calling to anyone else’s. It is unique and it is yours from your Father. Own it.Sis, don’t stop doing what you were made to do. The world needs your specific shine.

"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart." Hebrews 12:1-3 (NIV)

There is a heavenly reward for the race you're running right now. You may never see a crown this side of Heaven, but there's one waiting for you encrusted with jewels when you cross from this life to the next.
